Adriana has been at smallWORLD since day one and has been involved in all major projects produced and managed by the company. Adriana excels in project management and above all enjoys managing challenging and creative projects from start to end. Adriana grew up in Macau and studied in the UK where she obtained a degree in Design.
Bruno Simões, CMP
Bruno has been working in the MICE industry since 1997 and in Macau for more than 11 years. He has been involved with all segments of the event business namely as a buyer, supplier and as an organizer itself. Bruno first arrived in Macau in 1993 where he worked as a Marketing & PR executive at the Macau Trade & Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). He later served as an Events Coordinator for the Macau‘s Handover Ceremony Coordination Office where he successfully dealt with 2,500 delegates and 3,000 media and press agents. Bruno has a degree in Business Administration (1993) and an MBA in Strategic Marketing (1996). He is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and completed IAPCO’ Seminar on Professional Congress Organization in Switzerland.
Cody joined the company in 2011 before his graduation from Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) with an International Tourism Management degree. Originally from the Jilin province in Northern China he has been living in Macau since 2007. Cody has also worked at Koelnmesse as a Project Assistant for Macau’s International Environment Cooperation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) 2011.
Claudia is living in Macau since 2014. She graduated in Tourism Management at IULM University in Italy. She has five years of experience as PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) for an Events Management and PR company in Milan. Also worked for a DMC (Destination Management Company) in Hong Kong when she moved there in 2012. She successfully planned numerous events in different fields such as conventions, exhibitions, gala dinners, fashion shows, incentive travel and team building.
Brian is a Public Speaker and a Professional Trainer with more than 35 years of experience and has won more prizes in speech competitions in Hong Kong than anyone else in the field. Brian coaches individuals, corporate and medical professionals and Universities in Hong Kong to help them improve their speaking skills with a fun a relaxed approach. Brian worked in media sales for 13 years including employment at The Guardian and Forbes (Chinese). Brian has his own company and has worked with small and large internationals companies in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong to help them understand and teach communications skills relevant for corporate culture. Brian is a facilitator in team building events based in Hong Kong .
Micaela graduated in Tourism in 2013 and has a master degree in Hotel Management.
Before coming to Macau she worked as a facilitator in Campo Aventura Resort (a summer camp) in Portugal and in a hotel in Brazil – Vila Galé Marés.Her main traits are communicative and entertaining. Interacting with the clients is what she loves to do. Work in events is one of her passions as well as touristic animation.
Peter is our main drumming facilitator but also AV technician and a casino croupier. He is the ultimate Jack of all trades at smallWORLD Experience. Peter has numerous talents and his experience spreads over many countries. He was a photographer in Greece and Portugal, a DIY farmer in England and France and a chemist in Hungary.
His enthusiasm for music and rhythms started in childhood during drumming classes in Hungary but Peter has found a home in Macau with the Human Rhythms teams and smallWORLD.
Founder and Non-executive Director
Raul Azevedo is the founder of smallWORLD® Experience, Asia’s first experience company and responsible for launching the first integrated online and offline Experience Guide for Macau and Hong Kong in 2008. He graduated in electronics and computer engineering from Porto University, Portugal and received an MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands. We worked in several companies such as McKinsey & Company, SIC Television Group, A Vida é Bela and EFACEC. Raul has moved with his family to Brazil and is a Director for the World’s largest music festival, Rock in Rio.
