smallWORLD Experience hosted another amazing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team building event at the Hong Kong Langham Hotel ballroom on September 20th, 2023 for a well-known insurance and finance company in the territory.

This CSR team building activity event entitled “Making life easier for our customers”, was an In-person Team Building program called “Wheelchairs on the Move”, which was coupled with a social cause that can transcend mere bonding activities, leaving a lasting mark on the team’s dynamics.

CSR Team Building Activity Rundown

The mission of “Wheelchairs on the Move” is to build, test, and offer wheelchairs to a local Charity institution, which have been put together by all team members working together. Yet, this will not be their only capability tested.  To acquire the necessary components, team members engaged in a series of competitive games, adding an element of excitement and friendly rivalry. These games were carefully designed to not only challenge participants but also to reinforce essential skills such as communication, strategy, and adaptability.

 

 

With the hard-earned prizes in hand, teams came together to assemble the wheelchairs. This stage required meticulous coordination and precision, showcasing the significance of effective collaboration. It was during this process that team members truly appreciated the tangible impact their efforts would have on the lives of those in need. Finally, each chair must be decorated with an inspirational motive.

The culmination of the event was marked by a thorough inspection of the wheelchairs, ensuring that each one met the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Once approved, these specially assembled wheelchairs were then delivered to the local charity institution – Caritas Hong Kong, where they are going to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with mobility challenges.

The overwhelming engagement and passion displayed by our customers during the event was truly amazing. Their dedication to overcoming assembly challenges and their enjoyment of the designed games reaffirmed our belief in the power of meaningful team-building experiences.
