Our Story

How We Started

2007

smallWORLD Experience began in 2007 as an experience marketing company. In 2008, after nine months of development, we launched an extensive catalog of gift experiences, including workshops and events. While we had a B2C (business-to-consumer) aspect, our primary focus was on B2B (business-to-business) services, particularly corporate events. Following the financial crisis of 2008, we decided to strategically concentrate solely on serving corporate clients.

More Programs

2012

Our initial explorations paved the way for a unique portfolio of team-building programs. Innovation is in our DNA. In 2012, we embraced technology by integrating interactive apps, enhancing participant experience.

Expansion to Other Markets

2014

We were very successful in Macau, and many of our customers were from Hong Kong. We saw a chance to grow, so in 2014, we opened an office in Hong Kong. Moving into Mainland China felt like the next natural step. In 2015, we set up a main office in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. This office became our production and support unit. In 2017, we held our first team-building event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Soon after, we expanded operations across the country in cities like Danang and the capital city, Hanoi.

International Network

2020

The COVID pandemic brought together a group of 15 team-building companies from different countries. We all used the same technology from a company called Wildgoose. Virtual activities became very popular, and we did something amazing – we connected teams virtually in a fun and interesting way.

Today, we share know-how, product development, and resources among several like-minded companies. From 2022, this international network created several programs that set us apart from our competitors. Thought-provoking programs with strong debriefing and post-event impact.

Focus on Team Building

2025

In 2025, we decided to focus completely on team building, as a company that works in many countries. We started another company called Macau Event Company. This new company works in Macau and is dedicated to event management and event production.
